Recent news from Rotary Orange Daybreak includes:


* Rotary organised a hugely successful

‘International Night’ with

Orange Culture Hub.

It brought together people from

the Ukraine, Nepal and Latin America

who shared food, dances and music.

Over $650 was raised.


* The ‘Cruisin’ Along’ Rotary bash was a

fun drive and raised $40,000 to help us

support the flood damaged

Eugowra Preschool.

Congratulations to all involved.


* The June Farmers Markets created a

wonderful welcome to visitors and

collected $1,820 to support

Veritas House. A further $5,000 was

donated to Veritas specifically for

YouthMental Health.

 

* FoodCare Orange’s CEO Sue Clarke

told a Rotary Daybreak meeting about

the group’s work providing access

to affordable and free food, groceries

and household items
for individuals and families in need.


* Rotary Daybreak’s Harley-Davidson

raffle raised $28,000 (increased by

Rotary to $40,000) supporting

Orange Hospital’s Clinical Cancer Trials.


* Ongoing involvement aiding the

restoration of Eugowra.

Due to COVID_19 restrictions from March 2020 several of the Club's main fundraisers were cancelled, including the Feast for Farmers, Crusin' Along Rally, and the Newcrest Challenge, which has affetced the capacity to donate.
